Blackwood Rat Terriers is now in Central Florida!🎉

Deposits are required to hold your puppy with the balance due in cash upon pick up. Puppies will have their tails docked and dew claws may be removed, first set of shots and UTD on worming before going to their new homes. Deposits are NON refundable unless an unforeseen circumstance occurs to the puppy. If you change your mind about purchasing a puppy after deposit has been sent, no refund will be given.

Breeder reserves the right to the pick of litter (POL) of male and/or female from any litter. Please review the contract before you send your deposit, as deposits are NON REFUNDABLE, it is expected that every buyer will sign and understand the contract fully at the time of pick up. By submitting your deposit you agree to the terms on the contract. Deposits are accepted via cash or personal check.

Most puppies will be sold on a spay or neuter contract with AKC limited registration.

Please fill out the puppy questionnaire below and be sure to check your junk/spam folder for my returned email. Please specify which litter if there are puppies available in more than one litter.

Due to Covid, transport via cargo is no longer an option right now.
A flight nanny can be used for in cabin flights at puppy buyer's expense.
All transportation costs are at puppy buyer's expense.

All health certificates are at puppy buyer's expense.

Breeder covers the cost of the first set of puppy shots, worming and AKC registration.

Each puppy will be sent home with a puppy pack containing a health certificate, vaccine and worming records, small bag of puppy food, toy, blanket, AKC registration and other important info.

I follow Dr. Jean Dodds vaccine protocol with the first set of puppy shots at 9 weeks of age, followed by 14 weeks and 18 weeks. Click on the link to view the protocol.

I do not allow my puppies to leave prior to 9 weeks of age, preferably closer to 10 weeks of age.
